We met while touring Europe in 1997. Since then, Pat and Phil came to America twice to visit us, first in 2002 and then again in 2010. In between, the four of us have toured the south of England together in 2008. Then in 2012 we flew to Adelaide and toured southeastern Australia and New Zealand with them. Now once again we come together, this time in Edinburgh, to do Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

One Last Post until Next Time

So by midday we were back in Christchurch. We dropped the girls off at the hotel right next to the airport, drop the rental off and walked back to the hotel. We said our rather unhappy farewells during "tea" (dinner), with promises to join forces again. After a whole month of traveling together, we were still friends. Pat and Phil would spend two more days in New Zealand, hosted by Glennis and Max. The map below shows our route. So stay tuned until next time.
