After a morning in Inverness, we headed up the coast to Nairn, a seaside town on the North Sea. We ate in the town's most popular bakery. Soon after our food was brought to the table, a local woman came up to us and asked if she could sit with us. We said, Sure." We had a pleasant little chat with her. She comes to this bakery once a week to have a treat. She bought herself a strawberry tart, so that's what Nancy and I had before we left.
