Noosa Heads and Laguna Bay

We had lunch--fish and chips for me--in Noosa Heads, eating outside along the Noosa River. After that we parted Andrew and Helen and took a hike along Laguna Bay in Noosa National Park until we reached Hell's Gate, seen in this shot. Of course expending all that energy required eating ice cream back in Noosa Heads. All the while we were walking, Pat and Phil's son Andrew was calling to keep us up to date on election results. Shortly after we had finished our ice cream and had walked out behind the stores to check out the beach, Andrew called with the news that Obama had topped to 270 mark! We had a toast to Obama's victory during "happy hour" back at Andrew and Helen's. Phil helped Helen create some gourmet pizzas that evening for "tea."
