Maggie Dickson

Luca told us about the elaborate legion of Maggie Dickson, who was hanged but did not die.  Here's a website that provide a good idea of the story: http://murderpedia.org/female.D/d/dickson-margaret.htm.  The hanging took place in the Grass Market Square here in front of the pub named after her, which at the time was owned by her lover.
